Exciting News: Launching Team Barometer 3.0

It provides actionable recommendations to address issues before they escalate into major problems. Our previous version, which generated a PDF report upon completing a straightforward survey, has served our community well for several years.

Given the growing interest in Team Barometer and its increasing use for regular team health assessments, we've decided to take a significant step forward. Introducing the new and improved Team Barometer 3.0—a comprehensive web app that allows you to review all your past assessments in one convenient location.

The initial process remains unchanged. Simply visit our Team Barometer page and answer a series of questions about your team. We’ve kept the questions mostly the same, with a few modifications for brevity, to ensure you can compare current results with historical data.

After completing the survey, you’ll be prompted to log in to our website (or create an account if you don’t already have one). Be sure to use the same email address you used for previous assessments to link your data seamlessly.

Once logged in, you’ll have access to your latest assessment, which now includes a detailed breakdown of results based on your responses and enhanced recommendations. We are actively working on adding more reference materials and playbooks to the recommendations, creating a comprehensive one-stop solution for all your team's health needs.

By clicking on the assessment title, you can also access previous versions of Team Barometer. While the earliest assessments are marked with a placeholder date (2023-01-01), rest assured that all your assessments will now be easily accessible on our site. You can still download the assessments as PDFs, ensuring that your data is always at your fingertips.

Currently, Team Barometer is accessible in English and Japanese (we are based in Japan, after all). The language switch on the menu allows you to move between the two languages. So, if you have completed the Team Barometer in Japanese before, you can access your reports in Japanese through the Japanese member page. We plan to expand to more languages—let us know if you’re interested in helping us translate and/or test it in your native language.

Looking ahead, we plan to develop more advanced dashboards that will enable you to track team progress over time, aggregate responses from multiple team members, and run real-time workshops. Additionally, we are exploring the creation of custom solutions for corporate clients, allowing for tailored assessments and tracking the overall health of organizations.
